Based on numerous conversations it appears that a lot of people today seem to believe they will simply be raptured away right before or during the seven years of tribulation, well at least some believe it is seven years of tribulation. Some believe tribulation was spoken of by Daniel and then later by John in the book of Revelations. The common belief about the seven years is that three and a half is tribulation and the last three and a half is great tribulation. There is no doubt in my mind that there will be great tribulations . God will return according to his Word. According to the Word we are not going to be raptured out before the tribulations, in fact the word rapture is not even in the bible. Yeshua said he would come after the tribulation of those days were fulfilled. See Mathew 24
Mat 24:29 Immediately after the tribulation of those days shall the sun be darkened, and the moon shall not give her light, and the stars shall fall from heaven, and the powers of the heavens shall be shaken:
Mat 24:30 And then shall appear the sign of the Son of man in heaven: and then shall all the tribes of the earth mourn, and they shall see the Son of man coming in the clouds of heaven with power and great glory.
Mat 24:31 And he shall send his angels with a great sound of a trumpet, and they shall gather together his elect from the four winds, from one end of heaven to the other.
also in Mark 13
Mar 13:24 But in those days, after that tribulation, the sun shall be darkened, and the moon shall not give her light,
Mar 13:25 And the stars of heaven shall fall, and the powers that are in heaven shall be shaken.
Mar 13:26 And then shall they see the Son of man coming in the clouds with great power and glory.
Mar 13:27 And then shall he send his angels, and shall gather together his elect from the four winds, from the uttermost part of the earth to the uttermost part of heaven.
Next see in Luke:
Luk 21:24 And they shall fall by the edge of the sword, and shall be led away captive into all nations: and Jerusalem shall be trodden down of the Gentiles, until the times of the Gentiles be fulfilled.
Luk 21:25 And there shall be signs in the sun, and in the moon, and in the stars; and upon the earth distress of nations, with perplexity; the sea and the waves roaring;
Luk 21:26 Men's hearts failing them for fear, and for looking after those things which are coming on the earth: for the powers of heaven shall be shaken.
Luk 21:27 And then shall they see the Son of man coming in a cloud with power and great glory.
Luk 21:28 And when these things begin to come to pass, then look up, and lift up your heads; for your redemption draweth nigh.
Do we believe the Word or not? It says after tribulation of those days.
When is God going to come? below is a few scriptures of the end.
Dan 12:1 And at that time shall Michael stand up, the great prince which standeth for the children of thy people: and there shall be a time of trouble, such as never was since there was a nation even to that same time: and at that time thy people shall be delivered, every one that shall be found written in the book.
Mat 24:21 For then shall be great tribulation, such as was not since the beginning of the world to this time, no, nor ever shall be.
Mar 13:19 For in those days shall be affliction, such as was not from the beginning of the creation which God created unto this time, neither shall be.
I have listened to so many of us say we are going to be long gone before all of those things come about. I choose to believe the bible and not men.
People just like to believe that they are above suffering. why? because it sounds good and nice. it makes them feel safe.
1Pe 1:7 That the trial of your faith, being much more precious than of gold that perisheth, though it be tried with fire, might be found unto praise and honour and glory at the appearing of Yeshua Christ:
Joh 15:20 Remember the word that I said unto you, The servant is not greater than his lord. If they have persecuted me, they will also persecute you; if they have kept my saying, they will keep yours also.
In the book of Thessalonians we find Paul warns us to when he is coming.
2Th 2:2 That ye be not soon shaken in mind, or be troubled, neither by spirit, nor by word, nor by letter as from us, as that the day of Christ is at hand.
2Th 2:3 Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition;
2Th 2:4 Who opposeth and exalteth himself above all that is called God, or that is worshipped; so that he as God sitteth in the temple of God, shewing himself that he is God.
Chapter 13 in Revelations is talking about this same man and time.
Note: This is my opinion based deeply upon scripture.
Rev 13:6 And he opened his mouth in blasphemy against God, to blaspheme his name, and his tabernacle, and them that dwell in heaven.
Rev 13:7 And it was given unto him to make war with the saints, and to overcome them: and power was given him over all kindreds, and tongues, and nations.
Well what about that he is going to make war with the saints and overcome them. What saints would that be? According to the "pretrib" and "midtrib" believers standpoint, all the saints were already raptured away.
It does say in the bible that it will happen just as in the days of Noah.
Luk 17:26 And as it was in the days of Noe, so shall it be also in the days of the Son of man.
Luk 17:27 They did eat, they drank, they married wives, they were given in marriage, until the day that Noe entered into the ark, and the flood came, and destroyed them all.
Luk 17:28 Likewise also as it was in the days of Lot; they did eat, they drank, they bought, they sold, they planted, they builded;
Luk 17:29 But the same day that Lot went out of Sodom it rained fire and brimstone from heaven, and destroyed them all.
Luk 17:30 Even thus shall it be in the day when the Son of man is revealed.
Noah knew when it was coming so shall the righteous.
1Th 5:4 But ye, brethren, are not in darkness, that that day should overtake you as a thief.
1Th 5:5 Ye are all the children of light, and the children of the day: we are not of the night, nor of darkness.
1Th 5:6 Therefore let us not sleep, as do others; but let us watch and be sober.
Noah did not get the wrath poured on him neither shall the righteous .
Rev 12:12 Therefore rejoice, ye heavens, and ye that dwell in them. Woe to the inhabiters of the earth and of the sea! for the devil is come down unto you, having great wrath, because he knoweth that he hath but a short time.
What about the wrath of God?
Rev 15:7 And one of the four beasts gave unto the seven angels seven golden vials full of the wrath of God, who liveth for ever and ever.
Rev 15:8 And the temple was filled with smoke from the glory of God, and from his power; and no man was able to enter into the temple, till the seven plagues of the seven angels were fulfilled.
Now according to the way I see it the seven vials will be poured out very last they are the wrath of God. In Revelations there are spoken of vials, seals, and trumpets. Seven of each.
In my opinion the first is the seals which appear to represent a long period of time. The trumpets seem to point to a shorter period of time that when the last trumpet sounds Yeshua will be here which occurs at the end of the great tribulations. At this point his seven vials of wrath are then poured out very quickly. The vials are the wrath of God.
Rev 16:1 And I heard a great voice out of the temple saying to the seven angels, Go your ways, and pour out the vials of the wrath of God upon the earth.
If you think I am in error then let me know maybe you could email me and let me know so I can see your material. I notice in chapter 16:1 a voice saying go pour out the wrath but not until verse 15 we see Yeshua is calling out behold I come as a thief, blessed is he that watcheth and keepeth his garments. I believe the garment he is talking about is the Holy Spirit. Another important point here is that he is still calling out that he cometh as a thief possibly meaning he has not came as of yet. notice the vials already being poured out.
A lot of people say he will come like a thief in the night. I am certain he will come as a thief to people who are not looking for him. All scripture is given by inspiration from God and can be used for reproof and correction.
2Ti 3:16 All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness:
Paul says we are children of the day and we Christians will know.
1Th 5:4 But ye, brethren, are not in darkness, that that day should overtake you as a thief.
1Th 5:5 Ye are all the children of light, and the children of the day: we are not of the night, nor of darkness.
