I am wondering did you know the letter “J” was added to your bibles. Did you know that ancient Hebrew did not contain a “J” neither did it have the “J” sound. Below I have used the Strongs numbers and definitions to prove this true. The first word I am showing is “JEW” which is really yehudhi. They came from the tribe of Yehudah originally see below .
H3064
יהוּדי
yehu^di^y
yeh-hoo-dee'
Patronymic from H3063; a Jehudite (that is, Judaite or Jew), or descendant of Jehudah (that is, Judah): - Jew.
Or how about the word "Judah" where Yehudhi's came from meaning from that tribe or belonging to this tribe. The true name is Yehudah tribe.
H3063
יהוּדה
yehu^da^h
yeh-hoo-daw'
From H3034; celebrated; Jehudah (or Judah), the name of five Israelites; also of the tribe descended from the first, and of its territory: - Judah.
We have Yehudah and the ones from this tribe are called Yehudhi and yehudhia which is for male and female.
Funny there is no "J" sound in it.
Its really not odd at all since I took the time and looked up the "J" letter and it is so weird that the "J" letter was not invented until the middle ages and at first made an Y an E sounds sometimes I but never hard "J" sound.
Look up the history of "J" in any encyclopedia and if it is not in it try another but it does exist I recommend World Book 98 or Britannica 2004 it is in both of these that I checked and it confirms what I am saying.
I then looked back at the Strongs at the name Jesus and here it is:
G2424
Ἰησοῦς
Ie¯sous
ee-ay-sooce'
Of Hebrew origin [H3091]; Jesus (that is, Jehoshua), the name of our Lord and two (three) other Israelites: - Jesus.
There he is right out of the Strongs and guess what if you take your lips and tongue and say at first slowly then fast and faster the EE-AY sound becomes Yah so we have Yah now lets look at the next part.
We have sooce if I was to say it kind of like this soo-us I would had this complete word yah-soo-ce and after studying some Ancient letter and alphabets I found out Greek has no sound for "SH" so they substitute soo to gain a "SS" sound to replace "SH" sound.
Now for the looking up of another Word from above, which is Jehoshua, by looking up the origin Word that is H3091.
H3091
יהושׁע יהושׁוּע
yeho^shu^a‛ yeho^shu^a‛
yeh-ho-shoo'-ah, yeh-ho-shoo'-ah
From H3068 and H3467; Jehovah-saved; Jehoshua (that is, Joshua), the Jewish leader: - Jehoshua, Jehoshuah, Joshua. Compare H1954, H3442.
Now we see the word pronounced Yeshua, which just happens to be the origin for the Greek Word IESOUS from the Strongs above G2424
Now we already know Mary actually pronounced Miryam and Yoseph are Hebrew and we know that the name they got from the angel would have been Hebrew so it must have been of this origin as this is the name given from Hebrew.
H3442 see above
ישׁוּע
ye^shu^a‛
yah-shoo'-ah
For H3091; he will save; Jeshua, the name of two Israelites, also of a place in Palestine: - Jeshua.
Jesus real name was foretold in Zech 3:8 and Zech 6:11-12. i ask you to please read these verses carefully they seem like to me they are saying that this man who you crown is the name of the one whom will be the branch which is the Messiah.
Zec 3:8 Hear now, O Joshua the high priest, thou, and thy fellows that sit before thee: for they are men wondered at: for, behold, I will bring forth my servant the BRANCH.
Zec 3:9 For behold the stone that I have laid before Joshua; upon one stone shall be seven eyes: behold, I will engrave the graving
Zec 6:11 Then take silver and gold, and make crowns, and set them upon the head of Joshua the son of Josedech, the high priest;
Zec 6:12 And speak unto him, saying, Thus speaketh the LORD of hosts, saying, Behold the man whose name is The BRANCH; and he shall grow up out of his place, and he shall build the temple of the LORD:
Of course the real hebrew was not Joshua in Zech 3 or 6 but really Yeshu or Yehoshua.
You may not agree and this is fine but remember I will be clean of your choice.
.The Lord's name is Yeshu however you spell it this is how to pronounce it Yah-shoo-uh. This would probably be what Peter called him.
He was never called Jesus at least not while he was here living.
Yet many people today will go against this and say I have saw miracles in Jesus name and that’s what I am going to call him anyways.
Truth is I have saw miracles to but does that mean I have concrete in my brain and I cannot learn? No, I am open to the truth that’s why I continue to learn.
The truth is the name Jehovah never appeared in the bible one time it was made up.
My sources tell me it was either a German man translating the bible for the Pope in some form or another or it was some new age believers in around about the 14 to 15th century another tells of The Masoretes, who from about the 6th to the 10th century worked to reproduce the original text of the Hebrew Bible, replaced the vowels of the name YHWH with the vowel signs of the Hebrew words Adonai or Elohim. Thus, the artificial name Jehovah (YeHoWaH) .
Either of these ways does not matter the fact is that where in scripture there appeared the YHVH according to history that somebody took the name and added vowels to it to make it this word YeHoVaH this in turn was translated again later when the letter J became prominent they made this into Jehovah by replacing the Y with J.
The Hebrew letters were:
יהוה
These letters translate to these Hebrew letters Yud-Hey-Vav-Hey.
I copied the Hebrew alephbet below
Then some folk say later made an interpretation of this by saying Jesus means God has come to save or YAH saves when in actuality it means nothing at all neither does Jehovah but in psalms 68:4 we again see God’s name written down as “JAH”
Psa 68:4 Sing7891 unto God,430 sing praises2167 to his name:8034 extol5549 him that rideth7392 upon the heavens6160 by his name8034 JAH,3050 and rejoice5937 before6440 him.
H3050
יהּ
ya^hh
yaw
Contracted for H3068, and meaning the same; Jah, the sacred name: - Jah, the Lord, most vehement. Cp. names in “-iah,” “-jah.”
This name here is probably not all of God's name but a part and if we look at what it came from it was YAH so if the Lord is named Yeshua and we already know what that means as it existed before Christ was born and we know his name was not isolated as they called him Yeshua of Nazareth and Yeshua messiah and Yeshua Christ all these let us know its the Lord since others have this same name.
Which Yeshua means this he will save or Yah is salvation
Some sites have big debates about it really being Yahshua,Yahushua,Yashua and so forth but to be serious I am not an expert but all experts that I have either emailed or looked up data from disagree and all info I have says that Yeshua was the most used version while Yehoshua is the long version but that the true pronunciation is Yeshu but also Y'shua.
To me it does not matter as english spelling is but a little thing to me as I believe the important fact is that we should pronounce his name right.
If I were in a crowd and my name is Leslie but if you were to holler Carmel or Sharon or Jack or John or Yochanan I would not take notice of it as I would not know you are talking to me.
This is why I think we should call him in whatever language speak by the same pronunciation of his name this is what is called translated but if we transliterate then it would be Joshua in English. Not JESUS
Now what I am doing here is proving with simple Strongs numbers and the Britannica encyclopedia that his name was not Jesus and what it really is. Keep in mind that this is only the tip of the iceberg you could prove this any of a few dozen ways besides what I am showing.
At first I thought it was by accident but now I am really believing it is a conspiracy.
One thing is a fact I looked up ancient Hebrew and Aramaic and no "J" sound came from it nobody had that sound or used it at anytime that is fact and also in Greek the reason the translation get the “S” on the end is nearly every name that goes into Greek gets "US" on the end the reason is that it shows gender for male and it shows proper respect--- for instance Timothy in some areas were translated "Timotheus" and Mark was translated "Markus" the reason this is a slip through when it was translated this passed through without losing the "US" and also like Elias which was Elijah the Elias was correct he was never Elijah this is false name change.
This is why one place he is Elias and another he is Elijah.
Watch below I will show meanings from strongs
Hebrew version
Elijah
H452
אליּהוּ אליּה
'e^li^ya^h 'e^li^ya^hu^
ay-lee-yaw', ay-lee-yaw'-hoo
From H410 and H3050; God of Jehovah; Elijah, the name of the famous prophet and of two other Israelites: - Elijah, Eliah.
Greek version
G2243
Ἡλίας
He¯lias
hay-lee'-as
Of Hebrew origin [H452]; Helias (that is, Elijah), an Israelite: - Elias.
Take note that the Greek one added "US" to the end of Eliahs name and made it Elias
Elijah is totally incorrect.
Please give me your opinion as we have said in past that Jesus name was so important does this mean we should use the name Yeshua instead and if not how so. Would not his Jesus name be no different than using the name wonderful as neither are his true personal name in fact would it not at least be better to do it in the name wonderful at least he was called that.
If you think this is an error on my part then say something but at least have the dignity to say I am right if I am. This is not a little thing to me either. In fact it made me very upset when I first got to looking at it. I cannot blame the church I went to back when I first heard this for talking me out of continuing research on the name but they sure did not support me. I am not going to call names here but I was led astray after starting my search for his real name the first time. The Lord never gave up on me he sent someone else to tell me again. I take this very seriously. I believe in using the correct pronunciation in baptism. You may be able to get baptized in the incorrect name of Jesus but will it work. Do you go to the casino and gamble for money. I myself do not gamble for money although it can be replaced. Do you want to gamble with something you can never get back like your own soul? Some may say Jesus name will work and I would say maybe you are right. Like I said do you gamble. You could say well some people don’t know think again you and me both know it now.
If I was in a coma for few years and you did not know my name and I woke up with you calling me a made up name I would say hey call me this name it is mine and quit calling me that made up name and so I think if we wake up here we need to call him his name and give up the hellenized names that is messed up.
Let me know what you think and tell me will you bet your soul on it? I am not.
I tell you also that this is a serious thing and we need to give it due respect as it is the Lord's name and I challenge any person that says “hey everyone calls him Jesus so I am not quitting either” that is just traditions of men and trying to fit into mans ideas.
What if this was the strait Gate what if this was the final exam will you pass it? Will I?
Call me wrong if you want but I have been researching this for a little while now and I have about concluded this investigation.
Please keep in mind all proofs on this page were taken from Strongs or Britannica 2004.
There is tons of other material to prove these things besides my limited library.
If you just blow this off remember you are not the first to blow this off and I hope it wont come back to haunt you but my hands are clean. I have gave my best case without using isolated evidence or other sites or organizations the Strongs is pretty much agreed with by most and so is most encyclopedias.
The ancient Hebrew alephbet and Aramaic also agrees with this and they are readily available to anyone.
Praise Yeshua
